What is a cookie?

In conclusion, the cookie is installed by the request issued by the web server of the browser used by you and is completely "passive" (it does not contain software programs, viruses or spyware and cannot access the information on the user's hard drive). Cookies do not request personal information and, in most cases, do not personally identify Internet users. Although cookies are stored in the memory of the internet user's computer/device, they cannot access/read other information located in the respective computer/device. Types of cookies

There are 2 large categories of cookies:
